Foodservice equipment demand, on the rise

The global foodservice equipment market will grow to US$44.8 million by 2027, registering a CAGR of 5.7% from 2021 to 2027 said a new report from Allied Market Research. The 2019 global market value was at $34.2 million. Foodservice equipment provides ease of food preparation, in addition to food safety in the commercial kitchens.
The report revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic has severely hampered the sale of foodservice equipment. Still, changes in trends of food consumption and growth in need to reduce food wastage have led to the development of innovative kitchen equipment. Demand for equipment such as automated cooking & beverage systems, touchless pick-up & delivery equipment and cloud-based IoT solutions will drive market growth during the forecast period.
