Malaysian company Limitless Technology has launched CakeRush, an online cake ordering platform in the Philippines. With the COVID-19 pandemic making face-to-face retail proving difficult, CakeRush offers a frictionless channel for local bakers and an array of sweet choices for their customers. Earlier introduced in Malaysia, CakeRush is the holding company’s latest from its online gifting resource portfolio. Other offerings include Flower Chimp, a flower delivery service operating in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
CakeRush works by partnering with a wide variety of cake and pastry producers, from home-bakers to well-known bakeries to meet every sweet craving of consumers in Metro Manila. The new service uses proprietary logistics technologies, that provides a 'seamless' stream for both customers and bakers, eliminating the hassles involved in the ordering a cake.
