New Peranakan menu served 'strait' to diners

The Lime restaurant at the ParkRoyal Collection Pickering in Singapore is introducing its all-new Peranakan a la carte buffet. This new offering will have diners "falling in love" with Straits-Chinese cuisine. The a la carte buffet is a refreshing change from Lime's open-kitchen self-help buffet spread. Traditional delights will be served "strait" to diners' tables so customers can focus on catching up with family and friends while enjoying their meals.
Diners can look forward to savouring the true essence of the Peranakan heritage with traditional classics like Babi Pongteh, Ayam Buah Keluak, Itek Sio and Assam Udang Nenas. Available as well are the staples of every Peranakan meal such as Nonya Chap Chye and Steamed Butterfly Pea Rice.
For dessert, a nostalgic sweet ending awaits diners — a bowl of the classic Cendol dessert or the restaurant's much-loved D24 Durian Pengat should prefer to round off each meal with bolder flavours.
Exclusively for dinner from 19 March to 28 May 2020, customers can enjoy a complimentary serving of Rock Lobster with Nonya Chilli Cuka — baked lobster coated in a tangy blend of garlic, Lime and red chilli.
