Last month’s Speciality & Fine Food Asia (SFFA) in Suntec Singapore unveiled a number of food and beverage products made from around the world. For example, the Taichung City Government-sponsored booth brought in products from seven of the most popular food and beverage companies in Taichung. These were Zhengsheng food, Ivy House, Pipo Tea, Babuu House, Hwa Gung Tea, Chen Yun Pao Chuan and Medolly.
Taichung city is located in central Taiwan and is the country's second largest city. Taichung is also Taiwan’s most ‘liveable’ city according to an international media report. The city, which has a rich and historic culinary culture, possess well-developed pastry, baking and tea industries. It is also the birthplace of famous desserts such as pearl milk tea and sun cake.
